About Joseph
Joseph R. Goldstein has served on the Marietta City Council since 2018.He was first elected when he was 23 and is the youngest member of the current City Council.
He is the chairman of the Judicial/Legislative Committee. He was the chairman of the Finance/Investments Committee from 2018-2024 and chairman of the Economic/Community Development Committee in 2025.
He is a businessman and a practicing attorney.
He has a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Georgia and a JD from the University of Georgia School of Law.
He is a member of the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) and serves on the GMA Federal Policy Council.
He is a member of the National League of Cities (NLC) and has served as the Vice Chair of NLC's Information, Technology and Communications Federal Advocacy Committee in 2020, 2022, 2023, 2025 and 2026.
He is a member of the Cobb Municipal Association (CMA) and served as the 2022-2024 President.
Joseph is also active with other civic organizations and serves on boards and committees of other organizations.
